SECOND STAGE WORK SHEET…..

Discussion Topics:

1.     In Stage Two how did you begin to learn about spiritual things following your conversion to Jesus Christ?

2.     Did this spiritual education include learning in a classroom setting and also experience in a discipleship setting, as you experienced this stage?

3.     Who, if anyone, came into your life, at this time, and played a key role in your spiritual development?

4.     According to Mark 12:28-30, which way to love God was stressed in your discipleship, as a person in Stage Two?  Which, if any, was left out?  (heart, soul, mind, strength)

5.     Did you experience a “black and white” approach to righteousness in Christians thinking, during this stage?  Were you taught major judgmental attitudes toward others?  Or were others loved by Christians?

6.     Because of your Stage Two experience are facts about God more important to you than a growing relationship with God?

7.     Is “what you do for God” more important than “who you are”?  Did such a viewpoint get ingrained in you at this stage?

8. Do you revert to this stage when your spiritual journey gets difficult?
