FIRST STAGE WORK SHEET…..

Discussion Topics:

1. What was the element in your life that brought you to an awareness that you needed Jesus in your life, in this stage?

2. According to Ephesians 2:8-10, what did God do, and what did you do, to bring you into this first stage of the journey?

3. Did Stage One and the acceptance of Jesus bring with it any feelings?  If so what were they?  If feelings were present or not, did you receive certainty that you were accepted by God?  On what basis do you have such confidence?  I John 5:10-12

4. Having accepted Jesus as your Savior, what changes happened in your behavior, as you found yourself in this stage?

5. Did you experience a sense of inadequacy or being uninformed, as a part of the Stage One experience?

6. Were you been able to overcome such a feeling?  How did such a victory happen in your life?  Was it an event or a person?  What or Whom?

7. Do you revert to this stage when your spiritual journey gets difficult?  In other words, is this your “home base” during times of lack of faith?
